A beautiful, large specimen with lots of coverage. This specimen is a rare larger plate from the recent find of unusually robust vanadinite crystals. It has dozens, nicely perched on contrasting matrix. Note how many crystals show unusual flashes of orange and yellow highlights on their edges, and have outstanding glassy luster. The rear of the crystals is coated by a powdery second generation coating, which only serves to enhance the edges showing towards the display face. Despite the size, this piece is nearly pristine.
