Glassy and gemmy, this topaz exhibits the much rarer, rich purple coloration that only comes out of this mine sporadically, perhaps once a decade. There is a tiny conchoidal fracture (ding) on one of the terminal faces at the termination (which I factored in by halving the price - although you can indeed add a little epoxy restoration and hide that if you care to), but otherwise it is complete. Stunning gem crystal, rare color, good luster...something different for Brazil, but also these are unique in the world. 6.4 grams (approx 32 carats)
