A superb small cabinet wulfenite specimen from the Red Cloud Mine. This outstanding specimen is from the last find at the mine - the 2003 Red Gem Pocket. The gemmy and highly lustrous, red-orange blades are aesthetically scattered on the vuggy, banded quartz matrix. The large crystal is 1.6 cm. I particularly like the way the 9 mm crystal is perched on the top edge of the matrix and how the major wulfenite field is strung out on the matrix. The top of the piece is a very intense field of small quartz crystals.
