Vanadinite
Unknown Owner
While vanadinite from Mibladen is quite common on the market in recent years, much of the new find material does not compare to earlier ones in color or luster, with many having dull luster and pale red to light brown color. Thus, examples with bright, deep red, lustrous and gemmy vanadinite crystals have become more and more uncommon on the market. This floater thumbnail-sized cluster is a great example of the more desirable material from Mibladen -- lustrous, gemmy, blood-red crystals with no major damage to speak of outside of contacting on the bottom where it was removed from matrix. A fantastic thumbnail -- at a great price!
