This is a superb, rare specimen of the variety of wulfenite once referred to as "chilagite," and which is colored by minute inclusions of molybdenum. They only occurred twice, to my knowledge, in good quality crystals at this famous old mine. This piece is the gemmier style, and shows sharp edges and sharp inclusions. It is a rare treasure from Tsumeb and a competition-level thumbnail. Minor smithsonite is in association.
