Description
Bolivia has probably produced more tin than any other country in the world. The great tin mines at Viloco (sometimes called Araca) have produced some of the most magnificent Cassiterite specimens extant. This particular specimen hosts a few SUPERB QUALITY, sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, brown cyclic twinned crystal with WATER CLEAR GEM AREAS around the edges which is sitting atop Quartz matrix. The main Cassiterite twin measures 2.0 cm across. This is classic material from Viloco.
