This doubly-terminated, lustrous and partially transparent, matrix vivianite is a fine representative from contemporary finds of around 2004-2006 at this deposit. Minor contact at one termination is insignificant for this 8.0 cm long crystal. It has glassy luster. When backlit, it literally glows with a rich, emerald green color characteristic of this locale.
