Plancheite is a rare secondary copper silicate. Striking and beautiful, powder-blue, matte-luster plancheite botryoids with complimentary calcite crystals richly cover the sculptural matrix on this fine specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. This is an exceptionally rich and large specimen for the species and renowned locale. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
