A rare and fine cabinet combination specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. Rare, two-toned, hexagonal zincian dolomite crystals to 1.6 cm are beautifully scattered on matrix covered with very pastel-pink/flesh-colored dolomite rhombs. Additionally, there are two, diverging, horn-like, hollow dolomite stalactites and the complimentary green mottramite. The zincian dolomite crystals are often confused with tarnowitzite or plumboan aragonite but as you can see they have a really distinct habit. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
