This is a very good specimen of this very rare iron phosphate consisting of a wonderful, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, deep green, layered crystal group forming a "spray" of Ludlamite associated with Siderite on matrix. The Ludlamite crystal group measures 1.4 cm across. There are truly about 5 localities in the world the produce fine crystallized Ludlamite specimens, and all of them, except for Huanuni are now defunct. There have been no more of these specimens found in the last 6 years from this locality, and it is a possibility there will never be any more.
