Rare, pearlescent, two-toned, white with glassy, colorless edges, hexagonal, nail-head, zincian dolomite crystals to 1.8 cm are beautifully scattered on matrix crust covered with sugary, sparkly, very pastel-pink/flesh-colored dolomite. This fine specimen is from the Tsumeb Mine. The zincian dolomite crystals are often confused with tarnowitzite or plumboan aragonite, but as you can see they have a really distinct habit. Ex.
