This is a floater cluster of very FINELY CRYSTALLIZED gold of several distinct crystal habits, intergrown in an delicate-looking but actually quite sturdy arrangement. It also features, sitting atop the thinner and extended intergrown gold crystals that make up the "meshwork" frame of the piece, perpendicular crystals of a more 3-dimensional octahedral habit to 4 mm in size. As gold is notoriously difficult to photograph, it is BETTER In PERSON. approx 29 grams 6.9 x 3.2 x 0.6 cm
