A SUPERB and AESTHETIC Olinghouse wire gold specimen. A beautiful, thick, sparkling nest of tiny gold wires RICHLY covers matrix. The mine is now closed, with further specimen production unlikely. This is from collecting in the 1990s and was in the collection of author and collector Scott Kleine, who wrote the article on this find for Rocks & Minerals and on the trend for the Minerals of Nevada book.
