An excellent specimen with lustrous, pseudocubic, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals richly covering the mounded gossan matrix and from a recent find at the Mina Ojuela at Mapimi, Mexico. The very blocky crystals reach 5 mm. This fine piece is pristine and there are even a few tiny, accenting green mimetite botryoids. This is a new find, from just before the 2008 Denver Show. The exact mine location is Level 6, San Juan Poniente vein.
