Rare, pearlescent, powder-blue zincian dolomite rhombs cover the 3-dimensional matrix crust on this fine specimen is from the Tsumeb Mine. The rhombs have a beautiful sugary, sparkly quality to them. Zincian dolomite crystals are often confused with tarnowitzite or plumboan aragonite, but as you can see they have a really distinct habit. Ex. Marshall Sussman Collection.
