A beautiful and large, sparkling plate with olive-green mimetite completely draping a goethite/limonite matrix. The mimetite is botryoidal, with silky luster and a pleasing shimmer to its surface.Scattered on the mimetite are several elongate, lustrous and translucent, amber-colored wulfenite crystals, to 1.0 cm in length. The contrast is striking on this large, colorful specimen, one of a very few larger pieces recovered in this quality level in 2009.
