4.5 x 2.8 x 2.4 cm (largest). A fine, 2-piece rough and cut cassiterite set from the Viloco Mine of Bolivia. This is the only tin mine in Bolivia that occasionally produces transparent cassiterite of facettable quality and this is a stellar example. The near flawless, honey-brown gemstone is 0.96 carats and comes with three, 3" x 5" note cards with handwritten details about the stone. The euhedral, "rough" cassiterite specimen has huge gemmy areas of very similar honey-brown color.
