An outstanding thumbnail specimen with unique aesthetics, consisting of a stalactite of Aurichalcite from the world famous Kelly Mine in New Mexico. I have never seen another like it: The form and sheer size of the Aurichalcite is quite extraordinary for the location (as opposed to the usual flat plates), and the Tiffany-blue color is quite attractive. It is complete all around! The five lustrous "rice grain" style of Smithsonite crystals near the base are classic for this mine, and they complement the Aurichalcite very well, taking this up a level to be a choice combination piece with super aesthetics. Overall, just a perfect specimen and totally unique amidst so many I have seen from here. I LOVE this large box buster thumbnail/toenail specimen.
