Cuprite on Dolomite
A textbook, translucent, cherry red 5/8-inch crystal perched on snow-white dolomite. This is a very RARE combo! The piece is superb, pristine. Sussman collection, obtained from the Zweibels in 1987, then passed on to me around 2001 when the Sussmans stopped collecting thumbnails; and I sold to Roland Sherman for $2500 in 2002 (thus I have nearly amortised this back a decade in price when allocating prices here!).
