This matrix calcite specimen exhibits the classic "poker chip" habit for which this locality is justly famous. Tabular and rounded, lustrous and translucent, milky white crystals of calcite to 5 cm across exhibit parallel growth. Very minor contact at the terminal edges of a small crystal and a large crystal are insignificant as the piece is otherwise complete all around, and very aesthetic for the size
