A SUPERB and AESTHETIC specimen for the locality, of lustrous and translucent, pastel-blue, rice-grain smithsonite crystals on limonite crust matrix from the very famous and old Laurium deposits of Greece. These deposits were considered ancient by the Classical Greeks! This CLASSIC, OLD specimen with a CLOTH calligraphy label on the back-dates this fine old piece.
