This specimen is an exceptional chalcopyrite twin, multiple twin actually, perched on contrasting galena matrix. The twinned chalcopyrite is 3 cm across. In person, it is much more lustrous than you can see here because it was so hard to photograph both the brassy luster of the chalcopyrite AND the gunmetal color with high luster of the galena, together. In person, they both sparkle with a luster that is not coming across in the photos. It is overall one of the most elegant examples of chalcopyrite from here, I have seen, and just merits attention.
