Mount Antero is the locality in Colorado for gem species. Large Mt. Antero aquamarines such as this are very uncommon and are seldom available. This complete-all-around crystal has excellent gemminess and luster, with good color. The internal crazing adds character to the sides and very glassy termination on the piece. This is a historic old-timer, having been in the John Ydren Collection. His card indicates, that he acquired the piece in May, 1965. Weighs 58 grams.
