This diopside crystal is even glassier and gemmier than its predecessor, and is dramatic for the species! In person, the gemminess is more apparent. It has an unusual brightness to it, for lack of a better term. It is complete, albeit with very minor contact (from growth against something else) on one prism face. The color is a beautiful, bright apple-green. Minor graphite adheres to the base of the diopside crystal. The mass is 23 grams.
