An unusual specimen of pink smithsonite, for it's shape! Clearly exhibiting stalactitic growth, a black sulfide core has been totally encased by lustrous and translucent, pink crystals, to 1.4 cm in length. Unusual and superb! I got this from the Sussman collection many years ago. It is complete all around, as well.
