Dalnegorsk is known for many great species, Calcites prominent among them. This very attractive cluster consists of four prominent GEM calcites accented with several smaller ones. The longest is 3.5 cm, and it is actually doubly-terminated. The Calcites are gemmy, pristine, and they have superb luster. On top of that, they have a deep orange fluorescence. This is a wonderful, aesthetic small cabinet that is even better in person as the gemminess makes it hard to photograph. The piece is simply INCREDIBLE in person.
