This BIG, RICH Tsumeb smithsonite specimen, which was priced at $1500, is notable not only for its dense coverage of gemmy smithsonite crystals, but also for the inclusions of an unidentified yellow mineral that gives it a pretty two-hued appearance (probably beaverite). The plate is not boring and flat, but quite 3-dimensional, built up in clusters of varying depths. From the noted collection of South African dealer Rob Smith 13.8 x 10.1 x 7.6cm
