Rather than being a plate or covering of cobaltoan calcite crystals massed together on matrix, here you have large individual compound crystals, gemmy and pink, grouped together on a contrasting matrix of mineral-coated rhombohedral calcites. I think the effect is really gorgeous, and certainly "different."
