Perched aesthetically on a shard of limestone is a GEMMY, twinned, doubly-terminated calcite crystal, measuring 12.6 cm across. The terminations exhibit a fine cognac coloration. There is one tiny ding at the top side of the twinning plane and one termination has a minor (backwards-facing) cleave, but overall the specimen is still lovely and very dramatic for the prrice and size range. The crystal perched in midair, mounted for display by smaller crystals beneath it, and is as elegant as you could ask fgor. It is also MUCH BETTER In PERSON (more translucent and colorful).
