Wulfenite
Lustrous, butterscotch-colored wulfenite blades to 1.3 cm are festooned on both sides of the sturdy, sculptural gossan matrix on this fine cabinet specimen from Touissit, Morocco. Many of the wulfenites are mirror-bright and have sharp, beveled edges. Touissit has not produced wulfenites of this quality in many years. These came out in the early-middle 1980s or earlier. Very highly representative of the species and locale.
