Superb cluster of Native Copper crystals from the Keweenaw Peninsula in upper Michigan, which is one of the world's premier Copper-producing regions. The cluster is quite sculptural, and rather reminds me of a Copper caricature of a striding animal. Many of the well-formed crystals exceed 1 cm, and the fine color and patina add even more to the piece. It is unusual to find a cluster like this with such good, uniform crystal growth tip-to-tip, and that adds great quality to an already excellent aesthetic.
