Beaverite is a rare sulfate worldwide, but is very RARE at Tsumeb where I believe it occurs at its best. This is a very RICH piece with the three sides of the specimen richly covered with canary-yellow beaverite microcrystals. The showy, 3-dimensional, vuggy front features botryoidal beaverite nestled in association with glassy, colorless smithsonite rhombs in a box-work, sulfide matrix.
