A superb vanadinite from a small cache held back from finds of three years ago and brought to Tucson by a dealer friend this year. The crystals (to one cm) show top luster and great color, and are piled up on a carefully-trimmed matrix that acts as a stand and adds contrast. Mediocre vanadinites are a dime a dozen, but really good ones such as this are just as desirable as ever. No damage to this 3-dimensional hillock, except on the backside and there just a tiny bit at the periphery - it is for all intents complete all around. 6 x 5 x 4 cm
