This is a remarkable smithsonite miniature. The body core is brown with an overgrowth of colorless, gemmy, see-through, glassy smithsonite. This makes every one of the intergrown crystals exhibit phantoms. This crust has crystals that reach.5 cm across. An awesome miniature! The inclusions are due to cadmium enrichment in that growth zone. Ex. Charlie Key.
