This is a very nice representative Cuprite specimen from Tsumeb. It is comprised of hundreds of small octahedra and/or modified octahedra with sharp faces and a rich blood red color when backlit. Virtually all of the crystals are pristine with a great coverage on matrix. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
