A sculptural, lustrous cluster of intergrown Manganite crystals that reach 2 cm in length. Many of the crystals taper toward the terminations, creating chisel-like terminations. The sharp crystals are highly lustrous and silver-black, with many of the faces having a rich velvety black similar to Psilomelane. Surprisingly, actual manganite crystals are quite rare from the Kalahari Manganese Field, I know not why. Ex. Charlie Key Collection.
