A superb Olinghouse gold specimen, which features large gold leaves. The leaves reach 5 mm! This piece is richly covered with scintillating leaves, spinel-twinned gold crystals and gold wires. The gold is etched out of the cream-colored calcite, that fills the vugs in the porphyritic host rock. Ex. Scott Kleine Collection.
