This is a huge, incredibly rich specimen of a highly prized calcite varietal, the pink cobaltoan-rich variety well-known from this locality. What makes this specimen special, in addition to its amazing richness and size, is the variegated color resulting from the mix of deep pink crystals and more sugary ones. It is not only very beautiful, but so hard to come by in this magnitude!
