Garnet, smoky quartz, and microcline – oh my! This little beauty is a classic example of the Wushan Spessartine Mine material, with dark but clear smoky quartz and absolutely gemmy spessartines dotted all over. Some damage across the center, as seen – but prominent crystals are in good condition with sharp terminations. A great combination of classic minerals would not be complete without a few stacks of muscovite scattered throughout, giving this piece some nice green-hued accents. Photo by IFM
