Wulfenite
Unknown Owner
This very rich small cabinet Wulfenite is from the classic 1990s finds at Touissit in the Touissit-Bou Beker District, Morocco. Richly invested with extremely glossy mustard-yellow interlocking and freestanding tabular Wulfenite crystals, ranging in size from 2 to 9 mm on edge, this specimen does standout. That said, there is damage (mainly missing fractured corners) to quite a few of the crystals, due in part to the density of the Wulfenite. This Moroccan material does present a slightly different appearance to other worldwide Wulfenites, meaning that it can be distinguished visually. Overall, this is a very nice Wulfenite for the price, and from a 'modern-era' classic occurrence which is no longer producing specimens.
