Pachuca is a historic Mexican Silver mining district and crystallized Silver specimens of any type are very rare from here. Lustrous, silvery-metallic cubes of Silver to 3 mm are elegantly placed almost one upon another along the length of a central, thin, elongate Silver wire measuring 1.7 cm long. The cubic to slightly elongate cubic crystals go from a fraction of a millimeter at the bottom of the specimen on up to the largest, distinct ones near the middle that are 3 mm in size. This is truly a sculptural thumbnail from this important Mexican silver locality. Almost certainly from the late 1800s, or perhaps early 1900s at latest.
