Dimensions: 4 X 3 X 4.2cm Location: Shigar Valley, Skardu district, Karakoram, Pakistan This classic paragenesis (Beryl Quartz, Orthoclase) of these Pakistani pegmatites is particularly elegant, forming a very harmonious whole. Of course, the aquamarine crystal is perfect. Located in the Karakoram (Pakistani Kashmir), this valley starting from Skardu, the last track passable by jeep (up to Askole), serves the access points of the famous Pakistani 8000, K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum… A mythical region where we had the pleasure of making numerous expeditions to collect excellent pieces. A few mines around Skardu are exploited year-round, but most are small deposits exploited seasonally due to their altitude (3000 to 6000m) by several thousand local crystal diggers living in the valleys surrounded by these very beautiful peaks. Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base.
