Large, very lustrous, orange-brown axinite crystal on matrix with fibrous palygorskite, from the famous Russian alpine mineral locality, Puiva. Due to different amounts of light polarization, you can see a very clear and orange crystal in the second, and a dark, purple one on the third photo. The „holes“ are leftovers from dissolved chlorite. These are increasingly hard to come by in such quality and size.
