Ilmenite and Lizardite$2,400.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This is a cluster of classic crystals from an important old European locale: two well formed, unusually lustrous, dark silvery-brown Ilmenite crystals in a lizardite matrix. This duo of very well-formed, pseudo-octahedral crystals measure 4.2 and 3.0 cm in maximum dimension, respectively with sharp faces and edges. They are set in a contrasting bright yellow-green matrix of granular massive Lizardite that has a definite waxy luster and feel to it! Lizardite is a magnesium silicate and occurs as great crystals like this from this now inaccessible quarry. This is certainly one of the finest around for the locality, that we have seen. Ex. Paul Stahl collection.
