Tucson, Arizona, USAThis lovely doubly-terminated 'macled' twinned pale cream coloured, glossy, scalenohedral Calcite crystal comes from the famous Elmwood mine in Carthage, Tennessee and being from Martin Kershaw's collection it most likely dates to the 1970s or 1980s. Although it is not an iconic Elmwood amber-tipped crystal, it is really nicely positioned on its naturally etched, crystallized cream-coloured Baryte matrix, in superb condition and viewable in many directions and a good 7.2 cm in length. Two other, much smaller scalenohedral Calcite crystals rise upwards from one end of the specimen.
