This is an attractive, gemmy to translucent, glassy hydroxlherderite on albite from the Shigar District of Pakistan. This pegmatite species is quite uncommon and it is a calcium-beryllium phosphate with hydroxyl. This specimen is excellent for the species and it's on a white albite matrix. This really is an excellent miniature with its high luster, gemminess and it's almost doubly terminated with chisel-point pyramids.
