A dense, pure, miniature-sized specimen of mottled pale grey-green to golden Olivenite features a band of radial growths of silky brown to golden, wood-like Olivenite, hence the old name of 'Wood Copper'. It is accompanied by a simple Sir Arthur Russell label stating, "Olivenite Wheal Gorland, Gwennap, Cornwall". Ex Malcolm Southwood Collection, no. 1999.046. This is a true Cornish classic.
