An unusually large specimen of erythrite featuring rich "blooms" of deep magenta colored crystals to over 1 cm - hundreds of crystals on one major display face! They are a bit different from other erythrite specimens we offer here, as these crystals have the good color, but not the normal moderately metallic luster we associate with erythrite from this location. So they are colorful, but not sparkling. They sit against a rich and accenting background of soft pastel purple microcrystalline spherocobaltite. They seem to be a subtly different chemistry from the norm in that regard (and this may explain why we are blessed with an unusually large display specimen, as well). Overall, one of the larger plates we have seen of this material in good condition. From 2024 finds.
