This small cabinet-sized pink Cobaltoan Smithsonite makes for a really stunning display of this unusual variety, for which Tsumeb mine is the world's premier source. Individually, the crystals are quite small (up to 4 mm on edge), but they have a very sharp rhombic form and a very bright glassy lustre and intense colour and completely coat this top quality piece. Ex Hettrich Collection.
