At cabinet size this is a really excellent display specimen to show the undoubted quality of Calcite that has come out from the famed Tsumeb mine. This piece is particularly aesthetic owing to its cream coloured large (some reaching over 5 cm across) shallow-angled rhombic Calcite crystals interlocking in a rosette-like form. Not only that, but it is completely free from damage - a remarkable survivor. Ex Weyand Collection which was kept in Tsumeb until very recently.
